about

Life...is blurry, seen through the mirrored lens of perspective, while straining to see the sunset or rise! Like Plato's cave in 'The Replublic'

I was on a train into town (heading to work, in Glasgow) and a woman sat down opposite me... whom I'd last saw aged 17, when she broke my heart (not bitter but it still hurts) I didn't say anything and she didn't notice me.

The train arrived...everyone got off...and life went on!

lyrics

Life gets in the Way (By H.McMillan)

I came upon a past life
On my way into the city
Just as I remember
But now older and less pretty

And I asked her with a thought wave
How things had gone for her and she said Ooooooh

I learned to shine, the world was mine, every day, yeah.
And then I looked, it seemed like, time got in the way

And as I turned to leave, the guard had grabbed my sleeve
He told me, 'I'd like to believe in the here-after'
'I made my plans. I was a happy man.'

I learned to shine, the world was mine, every day, yeah.
And then I looked, it seemed like, time got in the way
