Little Sister (H.McMillan)

from Love by Jackson Greenhorn

/

about

Originally written and recorded in October 2010 but I always meant to re-record it and try to give it a Mexical/Latin party sparkle. So, now re-recorded completely on 20th June 2020 and re-mixed 20th June 2021.

Written for Ruth and Helen but dedicated to Sisters everywhere.

lyrics

Little Sister By H.McMillan

Little sister don't cry
Little sister don't cry
When the morning comes
It'll be alright

Little sister, your low self-esteem and feelings of dread
As dark as it seems to you now
It's all in your head

Little sister don't cry
Little sister don't cry
When the morning comes
It'll be alright

Little sister we know you
You're a star
You have so much potential to let yourself slip so far

Little sister don't cry
Little sister don't cry
When the morning comes
It'll be alright

Little sister help me to understand
From time to time we all need a helping hand

Little sister don't cry
Little sister don't cry
When the morning comes
It'll be alright

Little sister remember to keep your head up high because it's out there if you want it
And you'd better try

Little sister don't cry
Little sister don't cry
When the morning comes
It'll be alright
